Content Mavericks is an independent publisher and comparison service. We make money from product comparison and review articles on our site. All of these articles are based on personal first-hand experience and hours of research. 

Our rating methodology for finding the best products to include in our articles follows a rigorous 3-step process:

Step 1

We start by looking at all the products in the market (within a specific category). Based on customer reviews, expert reviews, ease of use, affordability, and features across the biggest community-driven review sites (G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, CrowdReviews, GetApp, Reddit, Quora, Discord, etc) we shortlist the top 50.

Step 2

We study our shortlist of the top 50 more closely by looking at their unique value proposition, feature comparisons, pricing, product reviews, etc to narrow down the top 7 in every category (best of the best, best for X, best for Y, etc).

Step 3

We pick the top #1 in every category based on a combination of stress testing and personal first-hand experience.

Once we've narrowed down our top 7 list we add affiliate links if the brand has an affiliate program. These affiliate links track purchases and provide our brand with a small commission for every customer we refer, at no extra cost to the customer.

At the top of every post we include a disclaimer that the links on our site earn a commission for transparency. Our partners compensate us in many ways. These can include pay per click, pay per trial, pay per sale, revenue share deals (or other custom arrangements).

We proudly add affiliate links to our content as we invest a lot of time, money, and research into every article we write. This also helps us track the top performing offers people like based on real transactional data.

How well an offer performs influences which products we write about and where and how the product appears on a page. However, this does not influence our evaluations. Our opinions are always our own.
